Dr. Bustamante joins a long legacy of physicians committed to improving patients’ lives through modern advances in ophthalmology.
As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Bustamante specializes in refractive cataract surgery and the clinical management of ocular disease. He enjoys getting to know patients over the long-term, helping them maintain healthy vision for life. Areas of expertise include dry eye, glaucoma and medical retina management.
Originally from San Diego, Dr Bustamante completed his undergraduate degree in Neural Science at New York University followed by medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed ophthalmology residency at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Bustamante loves the Florida lifestyle and enjoys cooking, traveling, and scuba diving in his spare time.
Dr. Bustamante is available for appointments at all three St Lucie County locations.
