| Dr.
Mallonee joined the group in 1976. He graduated with honors
from the University of Florida undergraduate, as well
as the University of Florida School of Medicine. This
was followed by an internship at the UCLA Medical Center
in California. An Ophthalmology residency was completed
at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami.
Dr.
Mallonee is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology,
as well as being a Fellow of the American College of
Surgeons. His interests in ophthalmology are Small Incision
Phacoemulsuification, and lens implantation, as well
as medical and surgical treatment of retinal diseases.
In spite of these obviously impressive credentials,
he maintains a warm, compassionate relationship with
his patients.
Dr.
Mallonee, when not in the office, may be found on the
links, where he is an accomplished golfer.
